By accessing or using DayFace ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DayFace is a personal style and grooming guide. You take a daily facial selfie, and the Service returns supportive scores and tips for skin, hair, beard, and clothing, along with day-over-day comparisons, streaks, and achievements. The Service includes:
- Mobile and web applications
- AI-assisted style and grooming analysis
- Progress tracking, streaks, and a shareable result card
- An optional premium subscription
DayFace is not a medical, diagnostic, or attractiveness-rating service. It is a self-improvement and habit tool. Scores reflect style and grooming signals only and should not be treated as medical advice or a judgment of a person's appearance relative to others.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their consent
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
5. Your Content
- You retain ownership of the photos you submit
- You grant us a limited license to process and store your photos solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending them to our AI vision provider for analysis
- You represent that you have the right to submit the photos you upload
6. Premium Subscriptions
- DayFace Premium is offered at $2.99 per month with a 3-day free trial
- Premium removes ads, unlocks unlimited analyses and full results, and applies a more subtle share-card watermark
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms
- Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that scores are accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your expectations. The Service does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAYFACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or conduct that harms the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Child Safety
DayFace requires users to be at least 17 years old and has a zero-tolerance policy for any content that exploits or endangers minors. Report any such content to support@dayface.app, and we will act promptly and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
